I have very large bone spurs in both feet. Due to my severe neuropathy, the orthopedic surgeon felt that I was not a good candidate for the necessary surgery and lengthy recovery time. I had a great deal of pain walking and felt quite hopeless as to any possible relief.

The following week, I had a standard six month appointment with my primary care doctor. He saw my difficulty walking and immediately highly recommended Dr. Betancourt. I had an appt the same week.

When I arrived at Doctor’s Choice Physical Therapy, I felt like I was only days away from not being able to walk at all, due to the level of pain. Upon meeting Dr. Betancourt, I immediately liked his manner and I felt hopeful. He treated both feet with ice, deep tissue laser therapy and massage. The results were truly unbelievable! After the first therapy session. I walked to the car with my wife and told her although it was hard to believe, I had a LOT LESS pain in both feet! I continued with my therapy sessions and the results are absolutely amazing!

I highly recommend Dr Betancourt and his friendly staff for pain treatments. My wife and I personally thank Dr.Betancourt for his friendly and caring professionalism.

I’ve been here twice in the last couple of months and both times the Dr and Summer have done ‘wonders’ with my problems. Thanks to them I am back to BETTER THAN normal!

Prior to PT I was very unstable. The Dr’s here worked with me each time & I feel a wonderful improvement. They pushed me (in a positive way) to complete all of the activities. They provided a positive experience. My thanks goes out to entire staff. Thank you, I have had significant improvement.

Working with the staff here was a pleasure. Everyone was personable and VERY competent. Before beginning therapy, the pain in my back and right leg had me walking the floor at night. I was weak and tired easily. Going up and down the stairs was difficult. Since working with Ociel, the pain has subsided to just aches. My right leg is getting stronger. I feel much better. Ociel is a gem!

I would recommend Florida Physical Therapy Specialists to anyone who needs therapy. The place is kept VERY clean and all the workers are polite, kind, and very helpful. My experience has been great and I would certainly come back if I had to.
